The Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) has released the latest dashboard update for June 18, 2025. The report highlights new application figures and the total amount disbursed so far to support students across tertiary institutions in Nigeria.
Key Statistics:
- Total Registered Students: 629,876
- Total Applicants: 591,013
- Success Rate: 93% of registrants have successfully applied
- Institutions Benefiting: 198
- Student Beneficiaries: 298,124
Loan Disbursement Breakdown (As of June 5, 2025):
- Institutional Fees Paid: ₦30,179,263,149.00
- Upkeep Allowance Paid: ₦29,699,020,000.00
- Total Loan Disbursed: ₦59,878,283,149.00
Daily Progress:
- +2,274 successful registrants (compared to previous day)
- +2,224 successful applicants (compared to previous day)
- 97% of new registrants succeeded in applying
